What an incredible experience! I couldn't believe how affordable it was to get a room for a couple in this hidden gem. The location was perfect, with a peaceful view and the soothing sound of a nearby waterfall. The private balcony allowed me to gaze at the stars at night. The room was impeccably clean, albeit a bit dated. The highlight for me was having a private bathroom with a bathtub. The breakfast was decent, although due to dietary restrictions, I couldn't enjoy much other than cheese and ham. But overall, the price, friendly staff, and convenient location make this place a must-stay. Highly recommend!

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the beautiful waterfalls in the area. It was close to a train station, making it convenient for those traveling without a car. The hotel also had a peaceful atmosphere, with a little waterfall nearby. The rooms were clean and had private balconies, providing a pleasant view.
There were some language barriers with the staff, as only one person spoke English.

Came in Geres to relax and have fun, this hotel was excellent base for doing it. Only 15 min walk to downtown. It was nice to have balcony. Though the bed in our room was not comfy, we loved the venue...

The room was surprisingly modern and clean, with a great view of the mountains and a peaceful creek. The large TV was a nice touch. The staff were easy-going and polite, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's location near the town of Caldas do Geres was convenient, making it easy to explore the area and find parking.
The bed was not very comfortable, and the broken shower in the bathroom was a bit inconvenient. I also found the pillows to be small and too soft, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of choices.

The hotel facilities were excellent, including free parking and a lovely restaurant with tasty food. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We especially loved the warm and cozy lounge area and the blazing fire that was always going. this hotel provided great value for money and we would definitely recommend staying here.
Can't fault anything about it.

It's equipped with swings, slides, and even a trampoline. They had so much fun playing there, we almost couldn't drag them away!
For dads, it would be great if the villa had a bigger kitchenette for cooking family meals.

We had a great time at Pimpao! We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the warm welcome from the friendly staff. The restaurant was packed but we were treated exceptionally well. The room was cozy and had a balcony with a beautiful view. The bed was big and comfortable, and we appreciated the two sets of towels and hair dryer. The staff member who spoke English was incredibly helpful. great value for money and we would love to stay at Pimpao again next time!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The location was fantastic, nestled in the heart of a beautiful national park. The surroundings were breathtaking, with stunning views and mesmerizing waterfalls. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind during our Easter break. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were clean and cozy, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, with a varied menu to satisfy everyone's taste. We also appreciated the warm and inviting ambiance of the lounge area, complete with a crackling fireplace.
Finding the hotel was a bit challenging as Google maps was not reliable. It would have been helpful to have detailed instructions on how to reach the hotel from the nearest big town.

Loved the rustic vibe of the villas and the cozy fireplace in the restaurant. Enjoyed exploring the National Park and spotting random animals. Engaging in horseback riding and kart cross made me feel like a true adventurer.
Such a shame there was no TV in the villas, I mean who needs entertainment when surrounded by nature?

As bike riders, we loved the location and the beautiful view from O Pimpao. The nearby lake was perfect for cooling off on hot days. The staff, although not local, was very helpful and accommodating. The private balconies in each room allowed us to relax and stargaze at night.
Felt right at home, no complaints.
